About the Vi Cushion

The Matrx® Vi cushion from the Motion Concepts Matrx® Seating Series provides skin protection and positioning for individuals at moderate-to-high risk of skin breakdown. The unique three-part foam construction targets skin protection where you need it most. It features excellent stability and support for all-day comfort. The Matrx Vi cushion is easy to attach to your wheelchair and won’t slide around the seat.  

All Matrx® Seating Series accessories are shipped pre-installed on the Encore Rehab Wheelchair or Comfort Rehab Wheelchair.

Features

• Cover – The moisture-resistant Meshtex cover includes a lifting strap, slip-resistant base, and hook and loop fasteners, making it easy to attach the cushion to the wheelchair.
• Liner – Underneath the cover, the Vi cushion features a liner of wipeable, moisture-resistant Startex.
• Top layer – The molded high resilience (HR) foam is made with UltraFresh antimicrobial odor protection. The foam is contoured for midline leg position and features a waterfall undercut to facilitate safe transfers.
• Bottom Layer – Firm HR foam base provides stability and protection against bottoming out. This makes the Vi cushion long-lasting and durable.
