About the PSP Cushion

The PSP (Posture Seat Polymer) cushion from the Motion Concepts Matrx^® Seating Series combines the stability and support of the PS foam base with a polymer overlay for extra protection and shear reduction. A double layer of moisture-resistant covers protects this ultra-lightweight cushion, which makes it easy to wipe clean. The cover is even reversible for a versatile surface. This cushion needs zero maintenance, providing worry-free skin protection and positioning.

Recommended for all users, including those with moderate-to-high risk of skin breakdown.

Available to ship pre-installed on the Encore Rehab Wheelchair or Comfort Rehab Wheelchair.

Features:

Cover – The reversible, moisture-resistant Startex cover has two sides: one side is made of soft fabric and the other is made of a wipeable, fluid-proof surface. Hook and loop fasteners allow for easy and fast attachment to the wheelchair.

Liner – Beneath the top-level cover, the PSP features a wipeable, moisture-resistant Startex liner to protect the high resilience foam.

Polymer Insert – Molded-in polymer gel provides extra skin protection and shear reduction.

Foam – The PSP is made of high resilience, molded foam with UltraFresh antimicrobial odor protection. Waffled ischial relief area immerses the bony prominences of the pelvis and helps prevent sliding. The waterfall front edge facilitates safe transfers.
