How do we estimate your cost savings with Traversa?
We estimate your savings by first estimating your operating costs with stretchers and subtracting the estimated operating expenses with Traversa Transport Wheelchairs.
These estimates include the cost to purchase each stretcher or wheelchair, the average wages in the United States for a full-time NEMT employee, and the average yearly maintenance cost per piece of equipment.
The Traversa Transport Wheelchair costs less than a stretcher, only requires one attendant per vehicle, and has lower maintenance costs.

FAQ
How Can We Help Answer Your Questions?
Learn more about how the Traversa can help you increase efficiency, cut costs, and boost revenue for your NEMT business.
How is the Traversa Transport Wheelchair different than other Broda products?
The Traversa Transport Wheelchair is designed especially for non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) companies to use with multiple passengers per day. This wheelchair is intended for transit purposes only.
Broda’s original product line of personal wheelchairs, shower commodes, and gliders are intended for use by one specific person, for as long as that person needs assistance with mobility and comfort in their everyday lives.
While many of Broda’s personal wheelchair products are WC19 certified for vehicle transit, these wheelchairs are intended to provide enhanced freedom for the wheelchair owner. They aren’t intended for commercial NEMT use.
