Regional Sales Manager

Broda Seating manufactures a complete line of wheelchairs and accessories. Our chairs provide patients with the highest level of comfort resulting in the highest quality of life. A leading manufacturer of wheelchairs and accessories, Broda has been a pioneer in the industry for 42 years, setting the gold standard in long-term and palliative care. As we expand into Complex Rehab, we are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our team in the Vancouver (80% Vancouver/ 20% Alberta) territory. The base pay for this position is $67,000 – $80,000 (CAD) with a 5% commission on every sale. $30,000 to $50,000 CAD estimated for starting commission.

Job Summary:

As a Seating Solutions Specialist, you will play a crucial role in expanding our business by educating long-term care, hospice facilities, and complex rehab dealers about our innovative products. This position requires 80% travel from your home office to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and ensure the highest level of comfort for end users.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage new customers, contributing to the continuous expansion of the business.
  • Monitor sales data, market trends, and customer needs to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Educate and present clinical solutions in seating and mobility wheelchairs to therapists, Directors of Rehabilitation, and nursing staff.
  • Utilize consultative sales skills to highlight features and benefits, demonstrating the success and credibility of Broda’s wheelchairs.
  • Establish and maintain strong, loyal relationships with decision-makers.
  • Prepare account profiles for company accounts and being able to contribute to sales strategies.
  • Providing pricing information to management and making consultative recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven sales experience, particularly in Post-Acute Care or Durable Medical Equipment.
  • Excellent presentation skills and a solid technical background in the product area.
  • Ability to motivate others to action.
  • Disciplined use of CRM and timely completion of management reports.
  • Willingness to travel 80% of the time.

  • Background in seating and mobility

Wheelchair & Mobility Regional Sales Manager

As we expand into Complex Rehab, we are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our team in theSoutheastern USA (Direct sales in GA/ AL) territory.

Job Summary:

The purpose of the Regional Sales manager is to be a Seating Solutions Specialist ensuring the highest level of comfort for end users. The Regional Sales manager plays a crucial role in expanding the business by leading a small team in educating long-term care, hospice facilities, and complex rehab dealers about Broda Seating’s innovative products. Additionally, the Regional Sales Manager should have a big picture view of best ways to grow the territory and make lasting relationships to add independent reps as it makes sense.

What we’re looking for:

Sales Management:

  • Meet and exceed established sales goals by effectively managing the assigned territory and sales representatives.
  • Utilize various channels, including independent sales reps, current customers, and end users (facilities).
  • Focus on both maintaining and expanding account penetration.

Customer Relations:

  • Build and manage relationships with home medical equipment providers.
  • Establish connections with referral sources (outpatient services, facilities, home care coordinators, therapists, etc.).

Sales Execution:

  • Promote, sell, and secure orders from existing and potential customers.
  • Design and execute an effective call pattern.
  • Demonstrate products and assist prospective providers in selecting the best-suited solutions.
  • Conduct all business transactions in a manner that upholds the high ethical standards of Broda Seating.
  • Help ensure the success of the consumer sales/marketing plan through sales efforts directed toward providers, facilities, organizations, professional clientele, and end users.

Market Awareness:

  • Familiarize established accounts with new products, services, and market developments.
  • Keep abreast of competitive products, promotional sales, and market trends.

Internal Collaboration:

  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with internal departments.
  • Collaborate with Financial Services, Customer Service, Inside Sales, Marketing and Technical Services.
  • Investigate and expedite warranty claims and complaints in accordance with company policies.

Reporting:

  • Submit periodic reports detailing activities, sales volumes, and expenses.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of related sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Experience in selling within a healthcare manufacturing environment or the Home Medical Equipment Industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Initiative and self-starter mindset.
  • Availability for overnight travel, as needed. (80% Travel)
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Willingness to travel 80% of the time.
